Last night we were at our local supermarket picking up a few things. We strolled down the frozen food section. We stopped at the ice cream cooler. I Looked around for something new and interesting. And I found something! So Delicious Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert.
I chose Mocha Almond Fudge
Ok, I know this product is not new, but it intrigued me. ? As you know I did reviews on another popular brand of non-dairy dessert. So I thought I’d give this one a try and let you know what I think.
I knew it had something going from the second I took off the lid.
There was a big swirl of smooth fudge right on top. It definitely scored some major swirl points right from the get go.
Ok, so it looked pretty, but will it’s taste hold up to its appearance?
Only one way to find out…spoon stat!
The first spoonful is always the most important one. It’s the one that can make or break. It’s also the one that makes me the most anxious and nervous, I take this taste testing very seriously ?
The spoonful went in the mouth and ” oh my gosh” came out of the mouth.
It was good, I’m talking real good, or should I say…So Delicious!
The Ice cream itself was kind of a mocha coffee taste with a very slight taste of coconut.
There were small pieces of almonds throughout, you got almond pieces in every spoonful.
Then there’s the fudge swirl. It was smooth and had a great hot fudge taste to it.
The combination of the three was perfect. Every spoonful was delicious.
I had to make myself stop eating it. I did share some with Frank and he had the same reaction. Now remember Frank isn’t vegan and he eats whatever ice cream he wants. I had to pull the container away from him before he ate it all…yeah it was that good!
So, needless to say SoDelicious Mocha Almond Fudge gets two, no wait, four thumbs up
I can’t wait to try the other flavors! When I do I’ll definitely let you know !
