Look What’s Growing In Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Patch🎃

img_1336🎃Pumpkin pumpkin everywhere 🎃

I found a nice round up of pumpkin beverages at Trader Joe’s and I thought I would share them with you.

I’ve  personally tried them all. So I can honestly say they are worth buying👍

🍂First up is the Pumpkin Almond Milk🍂

img_1361

It’s creamy and smooth and orange.  What’s not to like?

It’s Almond milk meets pumpkin pie. It’s thicker then regular almond milk and a lot sweeter. It definitely has a pumpkin taste. I’ve  used it in oatmeal, coffee, and just by itself. It’s higher in calories than regular Almond Milk, but we all deserve a little indulgence now and then!

🍂Next up Pumpkin Spice Coffee🍂

img_1362

This coffee actually taste and smell ( it’s like aroma therapy) like pumpkin spice❤️

Its a Medium Dark Roast with orange peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, ground vanilla bean, and pumpkin spice. Aaaah!

🍂Last but not least Pumpkin Spice Rooibos Tea🍂

img_1363

Who doesn’t  love a hot cup of tea on a cold autum day?!

This tea will definitely awaken your senses. It smells so good!

Each little triangle pouch contains Rooibos tea with cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.

This tea is perfect just the way it is, no need to add anything to it. You are more then welcome to add anything you like to it though.   Hmmm, how about a pumpkin tea latte with Pumpkin Almond Milk!

🎃Hope you enjoyed this post🎃

Vegan Hot Muesli Cereal With Caramelized apples and Pumpkin Almond Milk

img_1280

I have a new recipe for you today!

It’s been awhile since I posted one of my own recipes.

I guess the main reason is, I didn’t think some of them where very post worthy. Some I still need to tweek a little.  This recipe I just threw together one morning and it was good, really good. No tweeking necessary 😀

I did have a hard time coming up with a name for the recipe. Kind of just settled for the one that’s on this post.  Feel free to give it a new name if you like. If you do let me know what you came up with. If yours is better I may just use it!

Ok here we go with all the usual, necessary recipe stuff

img_1277

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 C muesli   I used Bobs Red Mill, feel free to use any brand you chose
  • 1 red apple  I used a Tango apple for its sweetness  again you can use any type apple you like
  • 1 C mix or almond milk and pumpkin almond milk   * see notes below
  • about 1-1 1/2 tsp of brown sugar
  • dash each of ground clove, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon
  • optional: shredded coconut and hempseed  * see notes below

img_1278

Derictions:

  1. Chop apple into small cubes
  2. Add the apples and brown sugar to a small skillet on low med heat
  3. In a small pot on med heat add muesli all the spices, shredded coconut, hempseed and both almond and pumpkin almond milk * see notes below
  4. While the muesli is cooking Caramelize the apples. Keep an eye on them you want them to turn a nice golden tan color.
  5. Once the muesli comes to a low boil turn down the heat to simmer a little
  6. At this point you can add more almond milk if you like you muesli more liquidy
  7. Once the muesli is to your liking spoon it into a bowl
  8. Add the caramelized apples to the bowl
  9. If you like you can add a few dashes of cinnamon, chia seeds  or anything else you would like on the top

*Notes

I used Pumpkin Almond milk from Trader Joe’s. You can use any brand or just use all Almond Milk.

You don’t have to add shredded coconut or hempseed to the muesli. Feel free to leave it out or add anything else you like.

You can also play around with the measurements. Add more or less milk, leave out or add more spices. Make it yours. I’m just giving you the base to add onto or subtract from. Have fun with it!😀

I buy my Muesli at Publix. It’s in the hot cereal aisle. You can also buy it in bulk.

If you aren’t familiar with muesli, it’s kind or like oatmeal but with smaller oats. It’s loaded with all kinds of good stuff like sunflower seeds, small pieces of dates and raisins, and small pieces of almonds.

Ok so there you have it… oops, I had to go back to the top to look at the title. I forgot what I called this recipe😂

Vegan Popcorn Love!❤️

img_1264
❤️Is it possible to be in love with popcorn?  Yes, yes it is!❤️

I confess, I am in love with Trader Joe’s Bollywood Popcorn!

Now this is no ordinary Popcorn. This is Popcorn with Vegan Tikka Masal seasoning.

One  bite of the popcorn and I was hooked. The smell alone is heavenly. Each little puff of corn is seasoning with Tikka Masal.  The sea salt, turmeric , paprika, mustard seed, garlic, and onion all blend so well together to create this spicy salty goodness. I can’t help licking my fingers while I eat it. I even love the package it comes in, so bright and festive!

img_1266

I try to eat only whole unprocessed food on a daily basis but sometimes I do enjoy a salty spicey treat.  So I guess you could say Trader Joe’s Bollywood Popcorn is my favorite little indulgence!

Oh and it does have 2g of fiber and 2 g of protein (and no sugar) per serving.

So if you want to add a little spice to your life Bollywood Popcorn is the perfect way to do it.

If your looking for the perfect drink to go with your Popcorn. Look no further, I’ve got you covered😀
