My Everyday Vegan Life. Hmmm?
I decided I needed to share more with you of what my everyday vegan life is like.
I was trying to think of what types of questions you may have or things you may be curious about. The first thing that popped into my head was ” maybe my readers would like to see what I eat on any given day”
A Day Of Food In My Everyday Vegan Life…
Yesterday I got up like I normally do. Went down to the kitchen and started making breakfast. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a typical breakfast I would eat.
This is what I eat for Breakfast
Hemp seed granola, chia seeds, black sesame seeds, walnuts, ginger, raisins, green figs, coconut cream, and unsweetened almond milk
I don’t eat at any set time. I usually let my body tell me when I need to eat.
Some days I do intermittent fasting.
I know it sounds scary, trust me, it’s not what you think.
What it is is an eating window. You eat all your meals in an 8 hour period.
For instance if you eat your first meal at 9:00 am you don’t eat anything after 5:00 pm.
This gives your body the complete 16 hours it needs to process the food you have eaten.
You can set your own times and how often you do it. I try to go the entire week.
I feel so much better on weeks I can stick to my schedule.
Ok,ok, back onto the topic of what I eat.
So now it’s lunch time. Again this is a typical lunch thing I would eat
Apple slices with almond butter,ginger, chia seeds, flax seeds, and raisins
Incase you were wondering, I don’t eat the same thing everyday, every meal. These are just the meals I ate yesterday.

I stopped the day before at one of my favorite vegan places in Gainesville Fl, Vegan2go. I stopped to pick up one of their awesome vegan subs and decided to get some tempeh in lemon grass sauce to bring home for dinner the next night.
I knew it was going to be a crazy night. Frank plays at a Monday Night Jam at one of the clubs near us. I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to prepare everything from scratch so I prepared ahead of time to make sure we would still have a healthy vegan meal.
I did make brown rice and sautéed green beans and Brussel sprouts in minced garlic and ginger, a little fresh ground black pepper, and a few pinches of sea salt
So there you have it, everything I ate on an average day in my vegan life😀

I want to help you see that being vegan everyday isn’t hard. The more you do it the easier it becomes. Then one magical day it just becomes your life. You wake up everyday and do it without even thinking about it .
